PRP Candidates for 2009 Assembly elections


Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) unofficially announced candidates list for 2009 Assembly and Loksabha elections. Munemma (S.T) will contest from some general seat in Nellore district while Party spokesperson Mitra will contest from Nellore Assembly segment. PRP President Chiranjeevi will contest from Tirupati, according to the Party sources. PRP will contest from 294 Assembly seats and 42 Loksabha seats. 

Devender Goud's NTPP is trying to forge an alliance with PRP while TDP, TRS and Left parties already formed a "Grand Alliance." Congress Party will go to polls without any alliance but works in close association with MIM in Hyderabad and other muslim dominated seats.Two Chief Ministercandidates will contest from Chittoor district. TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu will once again contest from Kuppam Assembly constituency. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy will contest from Pulivendula in Kadapa district. So, all the Chief Minister candidates will contest from Rayalaseema region.
